|School Of Electrical System Engineering, UniMAP
A visit from Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), Medan, Indonesia to School of Electrical System Engineering (SoESE), UniMAP has taken place at SoESE Meeting Room.
The session started with an introduction presentation from SoESE. The presentation was about information on SoESE, the postgraduate programme and the mobility programme. The session was then continued with discussion between the two universities. Amongst the issues that arose were the research collaboration opportunity, students’ management and the mobility of student and staffs.
The signing of Letter of Intent (LOI) recommenced afterward. The collaboration intention were signed by the Chairman of the Master of Electrical Engineering from UMSU, Dr. M. Fitra Zambak together with the Dean of SoESE, Associate Prof. Dr. Haziah Abdul Hamid.
Also present at the signing of the LOI were Dr Faridun Naim bin Tajuddin (Deputy Dean (Academic and Research)), Mr. Aminuddin Anuar (Deputy Dean (Student Development and Alumni), Dr. Latifah Mohamed (Programme Chairperson (Postgraduate)), Dr. Norkharziana Mohd Nayan (Chairperson of Degree Programme (Electrical Engineering)), Dr. Engku Ahmad Rafiqi bin Engku Ariff (Chairperson of Degree Programme (Electrical Engineering - (Flexi-Time)) and Ir. Mohd Shihabuddin Ismail (Coordinator for Industrial Networking and Quality Management).
On the other hand, the delegation team from UMSU side consisted of 7 members which were Dr Akrim (Vice Rector 2), Dr Rudianto (Vice Rector 3), Mr. Lufti Basit (Secretary of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology), Mr. Halim Maulana (Head of Information School), Ms. Rafika (Manager of International Relation) and Dr. Ribut Priadi (HUMAS UMSU).
From this meeting, both UniMAP and UMSU show their commitment in working together and we hope that the future agreement will benefit both sides especially in the collaboration on research projects and academic programme.
The session was then ended with photography session with all delegation.
